I've been getting massages since High School, I've had a bad shoulder since a young age and then career wise I've ended up with more pain in my bad shoulder and that grabbing muscle pain lower back every now and then. Excellent shopping centre massage shop. I used to get massages almost every week at various shopping centres. Now I'm a regular at Melbourne Central Max Therapy. It's the only one that is consistently above average. I've had at least 4 different masseuse over 3 months. Management is excellent. They have proper massage tables, HICAPS facilities, take bookings, allow for credit card payment without surcharge and offer loyalty reward card... all for a very reasonable price. Everyone I've recommended so far are returning customers. The staff will look after you.

Best remedial massage I've had (and I've had a few)! Roman was very experienced, highly professional, targeted tender areas, and also gave me very handy tips about how to improve my general muscular health. I highly recommend to anyone to go and see him. Went in with a very sore lower back and now have absolutely no trace of discomfort. Will be back!

I went to the Max Therapy in Elizabeth Street, Melbourne, in the city. I was a walk-in off the street on a Sunday afternoon. I got in straight away and had a 30 minute leg massage for $45. Very good therapist who almost put me to sleep in a very short time. Very friendly service. I'll visit again.

I went for a 70 minutes oil and hot stone massage with my mum as a treat. I have had countless massages in the UK and across Asia and I have to admit that this was one of the best I've received. I could easily have stayed an extra hour. Pablo was very attentive and made sure I was comfortable throughout and my mum received the same level of service from another employee. I'd definitely go back again :).
